Mangrove Jack's - Single Hop IPA - Sabro - 40 Pint Beer Kit

In the Mangrove Jacks Craft Series we have a new (July 2022) beer kit for you to make. Using a single variety of hop called Sabro.  This is a complex hop with lots of aromas.  You can expect to get orange, coconut, mango, guava, plum as well as hints of cedar wood, with a pine resinous and even a bit of mint going on.  This hop also imparts a dryness to the beer due to the acids.

So Mangrove Jacks have used it in their craft series of kits in an IPA to give a good level of bitterness that's nicely balanced with the juicy tropical citrus fruits, coconut undertones with that cedar woodyness.

ABV - 5.6%

Bitterness - 4/5

This kit will also require one of the following:
a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished beer to be sweet)
Or
b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer.  A mixture of brewing sugar and light spraymalt.  This will give the finished beer a good body and mouth feel.
Or
c - 1.2kg of Liquid Malt Extract.  This will give the best finished beer with a smooth body, full flavour and good head retention.

You will also need basic brewing equipment such as: a bucket; siphon; steriliser; thermometer & hydrometer to brew this ingredient kit.
