Protafloc Copper Fining Tablets are used when making beer to help remove unwanted haze caused by protein.

If a recipe calls for Irish Moss, replace 10g of Irish moss with 1/2 tablet of Protafloc.

Add 1/2 Protafloc tablet per 25 litres for the last 15 mins of the boil.

Although they are called "copper fining tablets", there is no copper in them.  They are actually made from a type of seaweed usually found off the Irish coast.  They are called "copper finings" because, in the old days, the boiling of the wort was in a large tank made of copper, with a big fire underneath it - also called a kettle.  The protafloc (Irish moss) would be added to the boil and that meant adding it to the copper tank, or copper for short.  This was a way of differentiating between the finings added at the boil and the finings added post fermentation.
