Buon Mini Jet Filter Filter - For Wines + Ciders + Lagers

The Buon Mini Jet Filter is a great way to filter your wines at home if you like a professional quality wine.

The Buon Mini Jet Wine Filter has a motor that pumps the wine through 3 filter pads capturing all the particulates, proteins and yeast 

Filtering your wine will bring out lots of flavours that are hidden and masked by unwanted particulates in your wine. Although you wine may look perfectly clear, there will still be particles & yeast suspended.  Once you have filtered your wine, take a look at the filters to see what has been removed. You will be amazed!

With its pressurised pump, this Buon Mini Jet Filter works in the same way as a commercial filter, pushing the wine through the filter.  This means it take about 10 minutes for 25 litres to be processed.  Because of the pressure, it means more particulates can be captured and therefore the finished wine is clearer, cleaner and crisper.

Your finished wine will not only look better, but will taste better too.  

This Buon Mini Jet Filter comes with the low voltage power supple, the tubing and the filter plates, but it does not come with filters.

There are 3 different grades of filter pads and you need to use 3 (of the same grade pad) on each filtration.  The pad choice depends on the amount of particulates suspended in the wine and the level of filtration you want to achieve.  These pads are available to buy on our website.

Pad 1 - Coarse Filtration - Blue Packet. This is for young wines that have only been left for up to 2 week after finings have been added or for heavy bodied wines. These filter out particles that between 5 - 7 microns. 

Pad 2 - Polishing Filtration - Red Packet.  This is for wines that have been left to fully clear and now need polishing to remove nearly all the particulates that might be floating around.  These pads will be suitable for nearly all wines and will make your wine sparkle. These filter out particles that between 1.5 - 2.5 microns. 

Pad 3 - 0.5 micron Sterilising - Green Packet.  This removes even the smallest yeast cells and will make your wines crystal bright.  Only use these after a pass with a set of Pad 2.  These filter out particles that between 0.5 - 1 microns. 

You should ideally wait until your wine looks clear before using the filter as this filter is designed to polish your wine and should not be used on a hazy wine.

Pads are not supplied with the filter.
