Make 35 pints of traditional strong bitter with the Festival Ales Friar's Ale Strong Bitter beer kit. Inspired by Green Kings Abbots Ale, you can expect a deep amber ale that has a strong malty, biscuit base, with citrus and floral aromas.
An Intricate medium bodied malt forward ale. Satisfyingly bitter with a characterful hop fruitiness that finishes off the palate. With the addition of extra hops to be used at the end of fermentation (dry hopping) to give extra hoppy character and aroma.
Makes approx 20 litres (35 pints) of traditional real ale at an ABV approx 4.6%
