We have many Cabernet Sauvignon wine kits that make up to 30 bottles of red wine.
We have Cabernet Sauvignon wine kits to suit many budgets and they all make good quality wine.
Just follow the instructions and you will find it easy to make a cabernet sauvignon wine kit at home.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the most popular red wine in the world, with the grapes being grown across the world. The grape was created in France hundreds of years ago by combining the Sauvignon blanc and the Cabernet Franc grapes to make Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry red wine that has a medium acidity and a full body. The dryness mainly comes from the tannins which come from the grape skins. These mellow as the wine ages, so it's always best to bottle and leave for 6-12 months to condition in the bottle.
Normally you will find cabernet sauvignon comes with oak chips and this helps mellow the tannins and add extra vanilla and buttery flavours to the wine.
Because cabernet sauvignon is a child of the sauvignon blanc grape, you can expect the same green grassy, green pepper flavours coming through. But with added blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry, sometimes chocolate and usually a woody aroma from the oak too.
You may hear cabernet sauvignon shortened to cab sauv or even just cab. This wine has great ageing potential, so once you have bottled your wine kit, stow a couple of bottles away at the back of a cupboard and for get about them for a few (10) years. These could end up being the best red wine you have ever tasted.
Remember to drink responsibly as Cabernet Sauvignon tends to be on the higher end of the alcohol scale at around 13-14%ABV.
Best served at a little less than room temperature at around 16-18°C.

from 228 reviewsI made my first ever wine, blackberry wine using this bag after following David on his Youtube video, great product, less mess and easy to use. Thank you David for your help and support with my order.
Easy kit to brew. Pleasant, very refreshing apple flavour ideal for lazy summer days in the sun. Very impressed and intend to try others in this range.👍
I have been making this for years. The cheaper wines I find insipid, the more expensive unjustifiable for my use.
The only criticism is that everything is in plastic bags these days. Having loads of plastic bottles proved easier the handle and recycle.
I was making the s.g.platinum until I made the switch, the females of the household never noticed the difference. Although there is slightly more involved in making the gold it is well worth the saving in my opinion. Watch your headspace, with these fast wines they can erupt if warmed to the recommended temperature. I tend to start it off on the cool side until the surge settles.
Very pleased great item
Goods received quickly and as described thank you. Will be back in the future. 👍🙂
It takes a bit longer to ferment than the cheaper kits, but it does create a very nice wine. I will be doing more kits from OTH in the coming months.
I bought this cider tin. I have wanted to have a go at making myself some cider/ beer as I have never made anything before. So I got myself a kit and bought this tin . Stir ,stir , cider enhancer . Topped off with 300 g of sugar and 18 litres of water. Added the yeast and waited a week. . Then I had to switch it to a new vessel and stir in the fruit flavour . I did not bottle this cider , I put it in a corny keg and force carbonated the liquid. It was ready just in time for a bbq I do for my work mates 3 times a year. I do have my own proper beer pumps . I put on Stella , strong bow dark fruit . Fruli strawberry beer, Guinness , and strawberry and lime kopparberg. Along with this home made cider through a Lindr machine. All the other beers were ignored and this cider was drained before the clock struck 6 pm . I got 1 glass . But I am pleased to say I was very impressed with this drink . Buy it . You will not be disappointed. Top tasting cider.
Nice to have bottles all the same, good quality well packaged. Shape of bottles fits corker very well also.
It was the first kit I ever did, it’s a quality lager, I always make it 19 litres so it’s a bit darker and quite a bit stronger lol happy brewing everyone
Great product
The resultant brew was very successfully received my only issue was that there were no labels included!
nice drink, ands saves a fotrune compared to shop prices. these kits are teriffic value for money, and i make them in a fortnight. sugar cost included, works out about £1 a bottle, compared to shop prices(in scotland anyway). no more shop buying wine for me anyway
This system is ideal for bottling, allowing both hands to be free. Simple, no mess, and minimal cleaning up.
