I made my first ever wine, blackberry wine using this bag after following David on his Youtube video, great product, less mess and easy to use. Thank you David for your help and support with my order.
Easy kit to brew. Pleasant, very refreshing apple flavour ideal for lazy summer days in the sun. Very impressed and intend to try others in this range.👍
I'd decided to make a port-style wine, so I was looking for a yeast with good tolerances for both sugar and alcohol (since I would be feeding the fermenting must with sugar to reach as near to 20% alcohol as I could) - and this one fits the bill.
This strain also offers the possibility of producing a higher level of glycerol, which won't go amiss.
After a month and three additions of sugar it's still bubbling away.
This is the first time I've used oak chips, but these came at a good price and were delivered swiftly
Lovely wine and excellent service from BB
This makes a nice wine that is pretty drinkable after a couple of weeks. I've bottled a few to see how it goes after a few months. I've made a few of the SG kits now, and they always turn out well, and are very easy to make up.
The John Bull IPA kits are straightforward to turn into easy drinking beer. Simple to make following the instructions, takes about a week to be ready to bottle depending on the temperature. Fast clearing and tastes even better if left to mature in the bottles for a couple of weeks. What’s not to like!
This starter kit is the perfect size to turn our surplus apples into cider.
Using an apple crusher & press we had 7 litres of juice collected from left over apples. This kit contains everything required for conversion into bottled cider...perfect for the 1st timer to create their own brew from garden apple trees.
Easy to use but made my keg leak at the tap, my fault for not doing it up tight enough for the extra pressure. I did it hand tight and that worked fine for natural carbonation. The added CO2 forced a leak, though. :) After emptying the keg, I found I could add an extra 3/4 of a turn, using a teatowel wrapped around the tap. Luckily the tap rotates independently of the plug, so a slight adjustment enabled downward pouring.
I have been using this product for some time now. It's easy to mx and does the job. I've never lost a brew through contamination. In fact, I've never lost a brew. Happy!
Davin was very helpful, its on the brew
Arrived on time, well packaged .
Do you do reds by the same company
Every wine maker needs airlocks, and these do the job required as expected.
Nice quality siphon that's got a good amount of length, oh err!.
And the tap doesn't leak like many.
