Hop for Beer
Hops are an essential ingredient in homebrew beers, used as either for bittering or aroma.
We tend to sell hops that have been processed into pellet form. The hop pellets help to infuse their characteristics, flavours, bitterness and acids more efficiently that cone hops.
Traditional beers will have hops added to add a bitterness to the beer. Craft beers will have the hop pellets added post fermentation (dry hopping) to add extra aromas without the bitterness. but many of the hops we sell can be used for both bittering and aroma.
We have a range of bitter and aroma hops varieties to buy, choose depending on what end result you want and what style of beer you are making. Combine that with the multiple ways to add hoppy flavours to your beer and the potential recipes are endless.
Hops are also act as a preservative, so helps keep your beer fresher for longer.
We have tried to give you lots of information on each of the hops we sell to help you understand their aroma profile and what characteristics they can add to the finished beer. However, if you need any help choosing the right hop for the beer you are making, feel free to get in touch with us!

from 211 reviewsI made my first ever wine, blackberry wine using this bag after following David on his Youtube video, great product, less mess and easy to use. Thank you David for your help and support with my order.
Easy kit to brew. Pleasant, very refreshing apple flavour ideal for lazy summer days in the sun. Very impressed and intend to try others in this range.👍
I have found this to be the best Cider kit I have ever made going with the advice from the video that Davin put up. I just used two tins no sugar and I made 5 gallons I bottled so many, and also purchased a 2 gallon barrel from them, which again was excellent for the job, highly recommended service and advice from Davin Would definitely highly recommend them all
Great to see different flavour range from the muntons tap room kits I made the peach to their own kit fab results after few weeks storage peach flavour came through well cant wait to try other flavours
My usual go to plase seems to be have been stripped before I got there, so these can be added to those I managed to pcik and at least help me salvage some wine, so they are useful to have.
Have not used it but it arrived intact which is a major plus
My favourite from a kit so far, really nice ginger flavour, and a reasonable price.
Great product. Occasionally takes more than a day to clear
Good stuff.
Decided to pick the Elderberries from the bush in the garden this year, rather than leaving them for the birds, and never having made wine before we needed all the equipment. I sent Brewbitz a message and Davin replied quickly advising that this kit would have everything needed (except of course the fruit, sugar, and water!). Have been following the elderberry wine recipe elsewhere on the site, and so far so good - just transferred to the demijohn for secondary fermentation, smells amazing, and tastes OK so far :D
Perfect if you want to try your hand at home brewing/winemaking :)
Excellent product
Ready to drink in 10 to 14 days, a lovely wine 🍷 as good as any good quality wine bought from a shop.
Cheap, cheerful, foolproof. Nothing to not like 😀
