no good for screw-on wine bottles

Important to note that these do not fit screw-on wine bottles - they are about a 1mm or so too narrow.

Hi Rob. Corks should not be used with screw top bottles. Screw top bottles are not designed to take a cork and the pressure of the cork can shatter the bottles neck. A wine bottle designed to take a cork has a thick band of glass around the neck to give extra strength to the glass.
