Coopers Australian Lager is just about the most popular homebrew lager kit in the UK!
Make 40 pints of Coopers Australian lager at home - we don't need to say a brand name do we? Well this lager is a take on the Famous Aussie amber nectar. It's golden in colour, it has a lovely smooth, clean, crisp taste with a bitter finish.
A subtle sweetness from the malts is also present and the rich, frothy head completes this brilliant pint.
The Coopers Lager Beer Kit only takes about 3 weeks to be ready for drinking.
This kit will also require one of the following:
a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished lager to be sweet)
Or
b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer. A mixture of brewing sugar and light spraymalt. This will give the finished lager a good body and mouth feel.
Or
c - 1.2kg of Liquid Malt Extract. This will give the best finished beer with a smooth body, full flavour and good head retention.
You will also need basic brewing equipment such as: a 23 litre bucket; syphon; steriliser; thermometer & hydrometer to brew this ingredient kit. If you do not have any equipment we have a starter package with all the equipment you will need to make this beer. We also have bottles and barrels for you to store your beer once it has been made.
